APUA to Re-brand Inet's Internet Service Provider

After 2 years and 1,000's of customers, APUA INET is re-launching its services with a new corporate brand, new rates, new plans and new customer promotions. The reliable, secure and easy to install Digital Subscriber Line technology (DSL) still remains as the core element of the INET service. This technology utilises ordinary phone lines and transforms them into high speed conduits for data, voice and video.

According the new APUA Telecoms Manager, Mr. Curtis McKay, "this is the first phase in the re-branding and re-vitalisation of APUA's telecommunications services". McKay took this newly created position as of 1 January, 2007. This is an effort by the utility company to streamline and merge operational functions, amalgamating the Information Systems and Telephones divisions.

APUA has been steadfast in its commitment to provide the Antiguan public with affordable and readily available services (Water, Electricity, and Telephone), and this is no different with the introduction of its INET services. As part of its re-launch, INET has revamped its rates offering two plans under EC $100.

The new brand is bold and modern with its vibrant presence. Its tagline (it's all about THE EXPERIENCE) represents a lifestyle campaign. Whether the internet is used for downloading, music or video streaming, eCommerce, keeping in touch with family and friends, or researching INET will easily accommodate that experience through its six plans and great promotional offers.

To ensure that customer satisfaction is at the forefront, APUA has dedicated an INET Customer Support Staff located in the Customer Service area at the Head Office, Cassada Gardens. The unit is responsible for visiting customer premises, to troubleshooting problems, procuring equipment, conducting research which lends to the development of the service, diagnosing problems, setting up new accounts, configuring the DSL modems, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

MosaiquE Inc. Managing Director, Tanya P. Edwards, is one of the brainchildren behind the re-branding strategy. "This is a team effort with other affiliated companies and the management and staff of the APUA's INET division", quoted Edwards. Upon working with APUA as a marketing consultant for the past year, her vision to reshape the 34 year old indigenous company began with the PCS "My Style"campaign.

On Monday, October 1, 2007 customers will be welcomed to visit the office at Cassada Gardens or the High Street Branch to sign up, speak to one of the knowledgeable customer representatives and test the systems with on-hand kiosks. There will also be FREE customer giveaways, music and refreshments.

Welcome to INET where the most advanced technology is used to provide the most simple and elegant service. it's all about THE EXPERIENCE.
